Since moving to Scotland in 2005 Michelle started selling her work professionally, initially however, she was a physics graduate and worked in an optics laboratory studying holography, diffraction, electron & fibre optics.  

Spending so much time studying light and how it moves through different medium gave her an eye for detail and colour which she hopes shows in her artwork. Perhaps her scientific background has also given her the drive for detail and precision.
